I wrote this song about wanting to get a dog. Seriously, that’s it! I’m a total dog person. Growing up I always had a dog and even now I never pass up an opportunity to give one a pet.

The thing about dogs is they cost money. I’ve seen lots of people who get a dog and then they either get tired of them, or send them to the pound because they can’t afford to take care of it. That really bums me out.

Doggos are a part of your family! The only reason I don't have a dog is because I can’t afford to give one a good life. As soon as I can, I’m going straight to the pound to rescue one.
